Bring A Little Heritage to Your Next Function
Everybody in South Africa is familiar with the word “braai”. Braai is traditionally South African; it has brought the unique cultures of South Africa together.
A braai has no specific time or place, the atmosphere and vibe of a braai is what makes it special to all South Africans.
A braai traditionally uses wood or charcoal to give whatever is being cooked on the soaring coals a unique taste. There is a variety of options on a braai menu that you can choose from.

History of Braaing
South Africans are not only the best braaiers in the world, but braaing also originated from South Africa. The word “braai” is Afrikaans for BBQ or roast. It originated with the Afrikaner people and since been adopted by many ethnic South Africans.
The word “braai” is an abbreviation for braai vleis, meaning grilled meat. Traditional meat which every South African knows is borewors.
You can accompany braai meat of many different sides. In South Africa on heritage day, we now know it as national braai day. On Heritage day many people get together and socialise whilst braaing.
